Mersy side club defeated French side Lille Losc in the 2nd leg of their Europa League tie, two of their super stars return to form as both Steven Gerrard and Torres scored on either side of the half time, to give Liverpool the 2-0 lead and over turn the deficit of th first leg defeat in the hands of the away team.

First goal was scored by Steven Gerrard from the spot after Lucas was brought down in the box. Fernando Torres, who capitalises on a speculative long ball, with Lille defender Rami misjudging, and the Spain striker makes no mistake.
