It was the away team who took the lead at White Hart lane, In form Zamora scored just after the quarter on the cloak. but a super comeback from the home team saw them scoring three goals in the 2nd half to win the tiw and seal the qualification to the semifinal. It was an open game in the first half hour with both sides creating plenty of chances and it was the visitors who struck first. Palacios and Bassong were slow in closing down Duff as he approached the Tottenham penalty area and the winger threaded the ball into the path of Zamora, who escaped his marker Dawson to neatly side-foot the ball past Gomes into the bottom left-hand corner.

Fulham pushed players forward late on with Okaka causing panic in the Spurs defence in stoppage time but the Cottagers couldn’t find a way back into the game in the three minutes of time added on as Spurs held on to set up a tie against Harry Redknapp’s former club Portsmouth in the semi-final.
