Barcelona Youngster Pedro Rodriguez has been called up by Vicente del Bosque for the 2010 Fifa World Cup 2010.  Pedro alongside keeper of Barcelona Valdez who will be the 2nd choice after Iker cassilas are the surprise names to come out for the Spanish squad.

Also included in the final-23 was Athletic Bilbao’s 21-year-old central midfielder, Javi Martinez. Some of the big name who missed out are Marcos Senna and Villarreal team-mate Santi Cazorla, Dani Guiza were also omitted.
