UFC 116 Results – Lesnar defeated Carwin in a Epic Fight


In what is tauted as the biggest ever fight in the UFC, Current World Champions Brok Lesnar will be taking on undefeated Shane Carwin in the title match which has to be the Main Card event. Both Fighters hate the sight of each other and that is something which makes the bout even better to watch. Shane Carwin predicted that Brock Lesnar wont survive more than two rounds against him but that is easier said than done he is the World Champion after all.

Lesnar defeated Carwin: After a difficult first round where Brock was badly hurt in the first round. Shane Carwin was punching Lesnar over and over and over again. Brock Lesnar could not move for a while. But that all changed in the second round when got the upper hand and won the match with the submission.


  • Heavyweight Championship bout: Brock Lesnar defeated Shane Carwin via submission
  • Middleweight bout: Chris Lebon defeated Akiyama
  • Welterweight bout: Little defeated Brown via submission (armbar) at 2:02 of round 2.
  • Light Heavyweight bout: Krzy Bonnar defeated Soszynski via TKO (strikes) at 3:08 of round 2.
  • Lightweight bout: Sotiropoulos defeated Pellegrino via unanimous decision (30-27, 30-27, 29-28).
