Oh, thank you so very much for putting this up. I live in California, USA, and was heartbroken that the American TV company did not bother to show either the Opening Ceremony on the first day of the competition or the Closing Ceremony on their channels (ABC and ESPN).
I look forward SO MUCH to seeing the whole Closing Ceremony – this portion made me cry, seeing all the races dancing so exuberantly and happily, and made me miss Africa so much.
Is there any way you can put up a video of the Opening Ceremony (not the concert the night previous to the first match, but the Opening Ceremony performed on the first day of the competition, before the first match)?

Thanks for the appreciation, I have posted more videos of the content not the high quality stuff but works…. I will be uploading the whole Ceremnoy here in 1 or 2 days time, apart from that the opening ceremony (just before the first match) will be available too……So bookmark the site and comeback in say 24 hours time from now to get all the videos here….

I must also say a big thank you for putting these videos up! I am South african and was gutted when the UK didnt show it on TV! this has brought goosebumps and tears and I can’t wait to see the rest of the clips to try and piece together the closing ceremony that I missed! thanks SO much for putting these up! I had to see it to believe it to see what SA pulled off at this closing ceremony! fantastic stuff!
