There you go, Spain has just lifted the trophy couple of days ago and The Logo for the next World Cup to be held in Brazil in 2014 has been released by the officials. It was choosen in the list of the 25 Finalist designs which is titled as “Inspiration”. Personly I really like the new logo as it represent the country which is hosting, three hands lifting the cup which are in coulors of Brazilian flag which are “Green” and “Yellow” while tournament year is appearing in the Red Colour which is a nice contrast I have to say.

Criticism & Complaints: It is one of the biggest sporting event in the world, so as expected there has been loads of criticism over the newly launched logo as football expert feel that there should’n be hands wrapping the world Cup Trophy, while other have complained that this is a cheap clip art with the hands of an “alien” covering the the big trophy. But what ever they say, I like the design and really missing the world Cup month, and looking forward to the 2014 which seems a long time away.
