Current Light Welterweight champion, Devon Alexander will be defending both of his titles against Andriy Kotelnik who happens to be the former Champions of World Boxing Association light welterweight category. On paper this fight looks one sided as Devon has been in great form for the last year or so having said that Scottrade Center will witness a fight which might prove to be one of the best in this category, as Alexender will be looking to put this challenge to bed and get ready for the next big fight of his career against Timothy Bradley in january.

Devon Alexander vs Andriy Kotelnik
IBF/WBC Light Welterweight Belts
Date: 7th August 2010
Vanue: Scottrade Center, Missouri.
WHAT AT STAKE: There is alot at stake for both the fighters in this fight, Andriy have big oppertunity to make a claim and beat Devon and gain two of the belts on the line and get the recognition coming with that as well, Well its easier said than done. If Devon can beat Kotelnik he will be going into the next fight on top of his game and that might begood enough as he will be taking on one of the most compact boxers of this era Timothy Bradley in january though he has to fight Kotelnik before all that as I said earlier on paper he is very strong against a 32 year old boxer, but Kotelnik is a boxer who defeated Maidana in controversial fight so he would not want to go into the match overconfidence.
