Two of the under achievers last season, Liverpool and Arsenal will go head to head for the opening weekend of the premier League, It will be the first showdown of the so called big four, Where Anfield will host the gunners on 15 August 2010. Last season’s respective game was a thriller as game was high scoring draw where Andriye Arshavin scored four goals but still ended up not winning the game.

LIVERPOOL vs ARSENAL LIVE & HIGHLIGHTS
DATE: 15 August 2010, KICKOFF: 18:00 GMT
VANUE: Anfield
MATCH PREVIEW: Rafael Banetiz have left the club and only time will tell whether it will have positive or negitive impact on the club, as new Manager Roy Hodgson is at the helm and he convinced two of the stars in the squad to remain at the club and signed a free agent Joe Cole while selling Yossi Benayon to Chelsea. Many believe that Liverpool will have to play exceptionaly well to make it in the top 3 or challenge of the title, but that can all change if they start out well against Arsenal in the opening fixture of th league.
In the gunners camp things are not stabble either as insipirational captain Cesc Febregs has been forced to remain at the club against his wishes to join boyhood club barcelona. and that is something which might cost Arsenal in this season if Febregas decide to show his anger on the field but that is not likely to happen as Febregas is too good a player to do something fishy and Wenger is one manager who wont let that happen. Though they start this years league with a tricky away trip to mersyside the team they scored loads of goals against last year.
