Two of the European compitition winners last term Inter Milan and and Atletico Madrid will be taking on each other for the European Super Cup 2010. Its a traditional curtain raiser for the upcoming European season where last year’s Champions League Winners and Europa League [previously known as UEFA Cup] participate. Rafa Benitez have the chance to win his second trophy already as he won the Italian Super cup last weekend. While Atletico will be looking to start the season with some silverware. MATCH PREVIEW: Jose mourinho has already came out and said that Rafa do not need to do anything with the team he has, accoring to Mourinho he has build a winning squad which will continue to win trophies regardless of what ever manager they have. This statement did not go well with Benitez who dont see Jose eye to eye. While Atletico are a team on a high, unlike their city rivals Atletico won some European trophy and will be looking to take full advantage of this Super Cup event to start the season by winning silverware.
