First match in the 2010 Ashes will begin on 25th of November at Gabba, Brisbane. Australia squad has veen reduced to 13 and there were some surprise omissions from the squad and since Nathan Hauratz is out of the first test we might see the end of his Test Career. On the other hand England had a surprise of their own when they dropped Graem Swann for the First Test and and opted for the left arm spinner, and one this is for sure that Ricky Ponting and Andrew Strauss are still not 100 per cent sure on what their best XI really is, which puts up a scenario of a great Series up ahead.

Alastair Cook scored 235 to help England draw the First Test Match At Brisbane

Date: 25 November 2010 – 29- November 2010
Vanue: Gabba, Brisbane

Much anticipated Ashes Series is about to get underway on 25 November 2010 with Aussies hosting England at Gabba. To begin with I have to mention that Aussies have not been beaten by England on home soil for 24 year which put English side under real pressure to do smething which many other good and big squad were unable to and with the form of some key players including K. Pieterson who is struggling on and off the pitch will be looking to get some confidence in the first test to comeback to his form which saw him emerge as the destructive English Batsman for quite sometime.
