In the first Quarter Final match of the Cricket World Cup we will have two Pakistan taking on West Indies in what will be a exciting match up between probably two of the most inconsistant and unpredictable teams in the World Cup. Pakistan are coming into this match on the back of topping the group A and they defeated highly rated Australian team who were unbeaten in the World Cup matches since 1999 and it was Pakistan who defeated them last time around as well. Predicting a winner in this one is anybody’s guess as Pakistan will be hoping to getinto the semi Final while Windies will be hoping to get back to glory days in the World Cup cricket.
Pakistan are a team which can surprise anybody and it will be interesting to see how they come up against West indies who are very similar in style and predictability. West Indies have been playing reasonably well in the cricket so far, while Pakistan are coming into this match on the back of a great series win against New Zealand and won their 5 matches in the group and topped their group.
Predictions: Like I said earlier Pakistan are the favourties to win the knock out match but they tend to struggle when they have the favourites tag attached to them and we never know what kind of Pakistan cricket team going to turn up, having said that Pakistan under Shahid Afridi captaincy will go into the match full of confidence and will be favourites to win the match.

Mohammad Hafeez followed up his two wickets with a half-century as Pakistan thrashed West Indies in Mirpur and stormed into the semi-finals. Brothers from all over, Pakistan has proved to one of the best teams, and Shahid Afridi seems to be a committed to bring the World cup to Pakistan. The way they punished Australia and now West indies, Pakistan deserve this world cup . And please let everyone give one’s own openion, dont listen to these indians, they know that if they are to face Pakistan , they will be on no man’s land this time. in my opinion both teams are good even though i am pakistan fan i think india is a great team in the use of sachin tendulkar yuvraj criccket shouldnt cause fights it should cause team work and freindship, and y do people always mention bombs and stuff as we know we cnt blame a groups doing on all pakistanis

Pakistan has truly proved to be a great cricket team. All of the “jealous” people out there, judge the team by how they play, not whether they are Pakistani or Indians or from any other nation. The Pakistani cricket team truly deserves this world cup for their outstanding performance.
