In World Cup 2011 we will have a very intense competition betweel some very exciting players about winning the Player of the tournament award. So far in the world cup many players have played some brilliant cricket including the likes of Batsman, Bowling and allrounders. The wikcets have been very favoureable to the bowlers specialy spin bowlers who have been picking up wikcets almost at will. Pakistan Captain Shahid Afridi who is renouned for his power hitting with the bat, has been sensational when it comes to bowling, with two 5 wickets hauls, two 4 wickets hauls which put him at the top of the table.

There have been some very good performences so far in the World Cup most notably is the batting and bowling by Yuvraj singh who racked up 5 man of the match awards in the world cup so far and he will be playing against Pakistan in the Semi Final in what will be the biggest game match of them all.

So far it looks like a battle between Pakistan Captain Shahid Afridi and India’s Yuvraj Singh who will be fighting it out to be most valueable player in the World Cup. It will be possible to judge after the match between India and Pakistan that who has the upper hand.

Clearly the other comments on here are written by either Indian or Pakistani fans who are biased!!! Afridi is an average bowler who has just done very well in this tournament and Sanchin is great as well but to pick someone as the best of the tournament you have to look at the whole package.
Yuvraj Singh has claimed 5 man of the match awards which speaks for itself. He’s been the best and most consistent player from all teams. Sri Lanka have had some great performers but nothing like Yuvraj.
And I’m English and very unbiased here. I wish I had an English player to throw into the mix but I don’t!

Yuvi is the best alrounder of the world cup 2011. No one equal him. Afridi is never match the quality of yovi. Afridi has not take single wicket against India, he took wicket againt lower teams not the top teams and he has not score run on the board but yuvi does it by bat and bowl against strong teams. So no comparison b/w them.
