In what will be great knock out match between two of the European powerhouses in Rugby we will have the 2nd Quarter final match which will be played between England and France at Auckland on 8th October 2011 and it will be interesting to see how this match goes about. Currently England are at the 4th spot in the international Rugby Rankings while France are at the 8th position. But since this is the quarterfinal match we wont have these ranking taking much of an impact.
England are coming into this match on the back of a topping their group with a 4 wins out of 4 and they will be eager to go out there and keep their good run of form going. Their performences has been very good special Ashton has been scoring for fun at the moment. England will go into this match as slight favourites.
France on the other hand are kind of a team who tend to save their best for the knockout rounds and they will be eager to go out there and keep the good run of form going when they take on England. France finished 2nd in their group behind New Zealand.
