One of the biggest events in the cricket Calender year is the much awaited Cricket T20 World Cup which will be played in Sri Lanka between September and October 2012. The ICC has announced the global sale of tickets for the tournament in the first week of April 2012 and what is great about it is the prices of the tickets which are incredibaly cheap to say the least. $0.25 for group games and between $2.50 and $45 for the finals and the reports suggest that tickets are being sold fast for the big event.
The tickets can be bought online from the ICC’s website. On the first phase of the tickets sale we have 8% of the tickets which will be sold now, while the remainder will go on sale in 1 August 2012 and that is the time to get your hands of the tickets. 1 person can only purchase 6 tickets to his name while you can watch the Women T20 games free of charge during the ICC World Cup T20 2012
HOW TO BUY TICKETS IN IF YOU ARE IN SRI LANKA
Match tickets will be available at box offices located in Colombo, Kandy and Hambantota and at selected MoneyGram outlets in Bank of Ceylon branches.
HOW TO BUY ICC WORLD TWENTY20 TICKETS ONLINE
You can log on to the official ICC Cricket site at www.icc-cricket.com and buy tickets online and buyers must produce a receipt confirming their purchase to redeem their match ticket at the box office. Ticket collection will take place from 1 August 2012.
More details will be available closer to the 2nd phase of the tickets sale, which will be 1 August 2012. So keep coming back for more details here

I have the tickets below for the 20-20 World cup in Srilanka…If anyone is interested, and i will hand over. The tickets are with my niece in Srilanka, but, I can get them over, if anyone is interested.
The matches start at 15.30pm local time, through to 22.30pm – each ticket covers 2 matches, and all are on the upper tier, which is the best view.
