AC Milan vs Cagliari Preview:
Milan takes Cagliari at Giuseppe Meazza in the fifth round. Milan stands in fifteenth place and has four points. Cagliari in first four rounds earned two points and ranks seventeenth line in the Serie A.
Cagliari is in very bad form now. They haven’t won in the current championship, and in general for 14 matches. President Massimo Cellino has ignored the ban on visiting fans of unsafe home stadium of the team. That’s why Cagliari has been awarded technical defeat in the match against Roma.
Rossoneri are also in a bad form. There were rumours that Massimiliano Allegri’s match against Udinese could be his last chance. But Milan has lost the last meeting, and the coach is still on his place. In the game against Cagliari he would not be able to lead his team through the ban for insulting the referee in the past round. Coach assistant Mauro Tassotti will lead Milan in this game. Milan also lost Cristian Zapata and Kevin-Prince Boateng due to ban. Each failure could be the last for Massimiliano Allegri, cause he have lost three of their first four Serie A matches this season.
Mathieu Flamini can miss out the game due to injury. Alexandre Pato and Didac Vila are far from fitness cause of long-term absence.
Cagliari has virtually a full squad to choose from. But they still are in a poor run of form at the moment.
