Group D’s two leaders will fight for the first place in Bucharest.

Romania is in a good form now, with only two losses in sixteen games. The team has shown great promise to qualify to Brazil. So they welcome the Dutch team with a 100% result. Netherlands also have nine points in three games, so they will go into this game full of confidence. Victor Piturca returns as national manager to make first qualification since 2008.  Piturca has built his team from a few experienced players and a lot of young, ambitious players. His Romania plays a fast counter attacking football. They have an excellent 2-0 away win in Estonia, 4-0 win over Andorra and a hard victory travel to Istanbul with 0-1 against Turkey.

Netherlands are going pretty confidence as Louis Van Gaal has returned. Wesley Sneijer, Arjen Robben, Van Persie and John Heitinger remain in the line of experience players, but there also arrived many new faces. Jeremain Lens will fight with Hunterlaar for the place alongside Van Persie. Promising Luciano Narsingh alss waits for his chance. In midfield Schacken and Strootman made an impressive starts. Netherlands has started their qualifying with a 2-0 at home against Turkey, a 4-1 win over Hungary and a simple win over Andorra with the score 3-0.

Defenders Gregory Van der Wiel and Alex Buttner as well as Arjen Robben are all injured. So Eljero Elia has been called up to replace the Inter’s playmaker.

Daryl Janmaat will give his place in defence to Ajax’s Ricardo van Rhijn, whilst Luciano Narsingh will play in the attack.

The home team has a full featured squad to choose from. They have recorded nine points and are in good from after win in Turkey. Gheorghe Grozav scored his goal, and it looks like the striker will retain his position in attack.
