WBA vs Manchester City Preview:
WBA will look to expand their best home run. After first four home victories Steve Clarke’s team faces with the Premier League title-holders.
West Brom currently holds the sixth line in the Premier League having fourteen points from their opening seven games. West Brom will play without on-loan forward Romelu Lukaku. Also West Brom could welcome back about six start squad players like: Chris Brunt, Liam Ridgewell and Jerome Thomas.
West Brom are the one of two teams with a 100% home result. Steve Clarke’s team currently stands pretty near the top of the table. Zoltan Gera and James Morrison have been impressive at the start of this season. Chris Brunt and Steven Reid with hamstring problems, Jerome Thomas with hip injury, Billy Jones, Romelu Lukau with ankle and Liam Ridgewell with calf problem, are all in doubt for Saturday’s game.
Man City can count their captain Vincent Kompany who has recovered from the last injury. Jack Rodwell was injured in the England U21 match this midweek, so he will miss the clash. But also they could see the returns of Mario Balotelli, Maicon and Javi Garcia after their recent problems.
Champions Man City stands on the third position with one point above their opponents which have fifteen points. Both teams are one of two unbeaten sides this season.
Steve Clarke faces a tense wait ahead of the visit of the Premier League champions, with six players all in doubt of featuring.
For Manchester City, Javi Garcia with thigh problems is still struggling, but looks likely to take part. David Silva with hamstring injury is looking not as much so positive.
In another place, Maicon remains out of the game, so Micah Richards will continue in the start squad.
