In November 11th Mallorca welcomes Barcelona at the Iberostar Estadi in Palma de Mallorca. The Blaugrana will try to rehabilitate after Champions League defeat. The Catalan grand had a shock defeat against Celtic on Wednesday, so they will hope to come back on their wining road.

Mallorca sits on thirteenth position in La Liga with eleven points after tem games. They have started this season unbeaten, but till now they are in a very poor form. They have started this season with three home wins but have since lost a few games.

Mallorca have lost to Real Madrid with the score 5-0. Also they have seen some real difficulties in scoring goals this season.


Barcelona are at the top of the league with twenty eights points. They have drawn just one game against real Madrid. They have a very good away form with five straight wins. Barcelona comes to this match after a 2-1 defeat to Celtic on Wednesday. They had a first Champions League group stage defeat in three years. They are scoring a lot of goals, but also they conceding plenty due to problems with centre back.

Both sides have a lot of injured players. Mallorca will play without Giovani dos Santos and other five players including Joao Victor, Antonio Lopez, Jose Nunes, Javi Marquez and Alvaro Gimenez. Barcelona can’t count on Adriano, Cuenca, Thiago, Puyol, and Abidal. Mallorca will play after last weekend’s 1-0 defeat at Deportivo La Coruna.


Gerard Pique has recovered from an ankle injury, so can make his first start for Barcelona since September. He has played twenty minutes in the Champions League defeat at Celtic. Captain Carles Puyol has returned to training regime.
