Valencia vs Bayern München Preview:

In November the 20th, Valencia welcomes Bayern München at the Estadio de Mestalla in Valencia. Bayern will try to look for rehabilitation after Bundesliga draw. The Bavarians will fight for three points when they travel to the Mestalla in Spain. Valencia are the group leaders, so they will fight for their points.

Valencia had a difficult start in the La Liga this season. They are currently in seventh place with eighteen points after twelve games. They have won four of their last five matches. In the Champions League they are the second in the group with three wins after four matches. They are in a great position to qualify. Valencia had some changes this summer, so now they are looking for their best play to come back to the fourth spot in the La Liga and for the Champions League qualification.

Bayern Munich has had an amazing start. They are at the top of the Bundesliga with thirty one points after twelve matches. They are eight points ahead of Schalke.  In the Champions League they sit top of the group with three wins after four games. They need just one more point to qualify for the knockout stages. Bayern added more quality to their squad. The last year Champions League finalist had spend €70m on Javi Martinez and Mario Mandzikic. So now they have one of the top five squads in Europe.

Mauricio Pellegrino probably will name the same starting squad which played against BATE in the last round of the Champions League. Fernando Gago is still injured after Argentina’s friendly. Jonathan Viera scored against Espanyol at the weekend, so he could play alongside Tino Costa.

Jupp Heynckes is likely to bring some changes. Franck Ribery will act on his left-wing after being rested in the last weekend’s draw with Nurnberg. Thomas Muller will play as playmaker ahead of Toni Kroos, and Xherdan Shaqiri will play instead Arjen Robben, cause he still remains sidelined through injury. Claudio Pizarro could return to the starting squad.

Luis Gustavo will play alongside Bastian Schweinsteiger. He will replace the Ukranian Anatoliy Tymoshchuk cause of his ineffective play against Nurnberg. Captain Philipp Lahm will start on the right side of defence from the first minutes.
