On the 4th of December Milan welcomes Zenit at the Stadio Giuseppe Meazza in Milano. Qualified Rossoneri will rotate the squad and give a rest to some key players. The Russians will try to qualify from the Group C to the Europa League.

Milan is the seventh in the Serie A with twenty one points after fifteen games. They are in second place in the Champions’ League Group C. They have already qualified for the Champions League knock out stages. Zenit are fighting with Anderlecht for the Europa League place. Milan have three wins, one draw and two losses in their last six home games. Milan has played a 0-0 with Anderlecht and 1-1 with Malaga at home in this Champions League.

Milan will play without banned Mexes, while Mario Yepes is out too. Bonera, Antonini  and Abate are doubt, so they probably will miss this clash too. But their first choice goalkeeper Abbiati is back in the squad. Ambrosini and Pato are likely to miss the game.


Zenit goes the third in the Russian Premier League with thirty seven points after eighteen rounds. They have four wins and two defeats in their last six away games. In this Champions League Zenit has lost 1-0 away to Anderlecht and 3-0 away to Malaga.

For Zenit forward Bystrov is suspended.


Massimiliano Allegri’s team already guaranteed the second place in the Group C and a spot in the knockout stages. So, he can rotate his squad for Tuesday’s game with Zenit. Stephan El Shaarawy could get a rest, as Bojan Krkic could start from the firs minutes. Mathieu Flamini and Massimo Ambrosini could replace key players Nigel de Jong and Riccardo Montolivo.

Luciano Spalletti will fifth for Europa League with an attacking team back to his native Italy. Brazilian Hulk is expected alongside Aleksandr Kerzhakov and Aleksandr Bukharov. Vladimir Bystrov is suspended, so he will miss this game.


Milan line-up: Amelia, Zapata, Yepes, Acerbi, De Sciglio, Flamini, Ambrosini, Nocerino, Boateng, Bojan, Emanuelson.
