Paris Saint-Germain vs Porto Preview:

On the 4th of December PSG welcomes Porto at the Parc des Princes in Paris. Struggling hosts will try to rehabilitate in the face of fans and will aim to get three points to lead the Group A in the finale round of the Champions League group stage. Carlo Ancelotti’s team is on a poor run of form last time. They need a victory if they want to get the top spot against the Portuguese grand.

Porto is the first in the Primeira Liga with twenty six points after ten games. They have four wins and two defeats from their last six away matches away from home. In this seasons’ Champions League Porto has one win and one draw from their last two away games. They have won with the score 2-0 in Zagreb and played 0-0 draw in Kiev against Dynamo.

 

PSG has doubts over Goalie Sirgiu, forward Gameiro, midfielders Verrati and Motta. Porto should field a strong squad. Both strikers Rodriguez and Martinez should be fit. PSG will try to control the most of this game, but Porto can move fast and counterattack.

Head coach Carlo Ancelotti can count on key goalkeeper Salvatore Sirigu and midfielder Marco Verratti. They missed the 2-1 defeat to Nice through injury this weekend. Kevin Gameiro and Thiago Motta still remain unavailable through injury.

Porto will play with the strong squad after the 2-1 defeat to Braga at the weekend. Theit leaders Joao Moutinho, Jackson Martinez and Lucho Gonzalez have no significant injury worries.
