Ajax goes on fourth place in the Eredivisie with thirty points in fifteen rounds. They have two wins and four draws in their last six away games. Ajax can give the Real Madrid’s bench a test. The Real Madrid players like Kaka, Modric, Carvalho, Callejon. Varane, Rodriguez and Morata can appear in the start. For Ajax Ryan Babel and Kolbeinn Sigthórsson are still out.

Jose Mourinho comes into this clash knowing that they are second in the Group D. Due to their head-to-head results with Borussia Dortmund they cannot get the first group place. So the Real Madrid’s head coach can give some practice and game time to his reserve players. Mourinho will still want to end the Group Stage on with a victory, so his top scorers Cristiano Ronaldo and Karim Benzema could start from the first minutes.

Ajax have a big goal to play for. The Eredivisie grand is placed third with one point ahead of Manchester City. Both want to grab a place in the Europa League final stages. Ryan Babel is still sidelined. So,  Danny Hoesen can get his chance.
