On the sixth of December Bordeaux welcomes Newcastle at the Stade Jacques Chaban-Delmas in Bordeaux. The Magpies are looking for top spot in Europa League group D. They have one win, one draw and four defeats in their last six games. Away from home they have two wins and four draw results. Newcastle has been struggling with injuries this season.

 

Bordeaux head coach Francis Gillot hopes that Henri Saivet will be fit for this match. Abdou Traore is injured and still remains under doubt.

Alan Pardew can’t count on Yohan Cabaye and Steven Taylor. They are longer-term injured like Dan Gosling, Gabriel Obertan and Ryan Taylor. The main loss could be Hatem Ben Arfa, who is a doubt for this clash.
