Tottenham vs Swansea City Preview

On December 16th Tottenham welcomes Swansea at the White Hart Lane in London. Swans will aim to get their first ever win at White Hart Lane. The Welsh club travels to north London buoyed by Capital One Cup progression.

Tottenham are fifth in the EPL standings with twenty six points from sixteen games. They have won eight, drawn two and lost six.  Their present form has seen three wins and two defeats in their last five matches. The Spurs are disappointed after last week’s loss to Everton with the score 2-1. Andre Villas-Boas men have to cope with such pressure as the majority of top table teams.

Gareth Bale will be missing once again for the Spurs.

Swansea are eighth in the table with twenty three points after sixteen games, having won six, drawn five and loss five.  Their recent form has seen three wins, one draw and one loss in their last five matches. Swansea had been looking like one of the most confident teams, but last week they lost to Norwich with the score 4-3.

Ashley Williams served a one-match ban and could return to the starting squad. Neil Taylor is long-term injured, so Ben Davies will continue at left-back. Angel Rangel was rested against Middlesbrough, but he could return to the team.
