On December 22nd Malaga welcomes Real Madrid at the Estadio La Rosaleda in M├ílaga. Los Boquerones will try to minimize gap between them and visitors. Manuel Pellegrini’s team can close on two points of the struggling Castilian giants in the La Liga. Mourinhio will try to get three points at La Rosaleda on Saturday.


Malaga stands on fourth position in the La Liga standings with twenty eight points after sixteen points. They have eight wins, four draws and four defeats this season. Their resent form has seen two victories, two draws and one loss from their last five games. Malaga have three wins and two losses in their last five home games. Last week they have won Sevilla with the score 0-2 and played a 1-1 draw in the Copa del Rey with Eibar.

Malaga are struggling for last times. They have won just three of their last twelve games in all competitions. Also the Andalusians have lost their last five fixtures against Real Madrid.


Real Madrid goes third in the Spanish Primera with thirty three points after sixteen games, having won ten, drawn three and lost three games. They have won just two of their last five away matches in all competitions. Their present form has seen three wins, one draw and one defeat from their last five games.

Los Merengues are thirteen points behind the leaders Barcelona and seven points behind second placed Atletico. But the other side of Madrid has played seventeen games till now.


Malaga will play without captain Weligton, after he picked up his fifth yellow card last week. Oguchi Onyewu is going to replace Weligton at the back. Julio Baptista and Jeremy Toulalan are also sidelined.

Real Madrid lost their defender Fabio Coentrao, who picked up a muscle injury. Raphael Varane, Raul Albiol and Gonzalo Higuain remain sidelined. Karim Benzema is available for this game.
