Liverpool vs Norwich Preview:

On January 19th Liverpool takes on Norwich at the Anfield in Liverpool. Liverpool will be looking for three points as the Reds will aim to bounce back from Old Trafford defeat. Luiz Suarez has scored in each of his last two meetings against the Canaries, who have won just one EPL game away from home so far this season.

 

Liverpool goes eighth in the EPL with thirty one points from twenty two games, having won eight, drawn seven and lost seven matches so far this season. Their present form has seen three wins and two losses in their last five fixtures. Last five home games the Reds have finished with three wins, one draw and one defeat in all competitions. Last matchday they have lost to Man Utd with the score 2-1.  They were dominated in the first half, but the Devils scored twice.

 

Norwich are twelfth in the league table with twenty six points from twenty two games, winning six, drawing eight and losing eight.  Their present form has seen one draw and four defeats in their last five games. Last five away matches of the Canaries have seen two wins, one draw and two defeats. Last week they have drawn with Newcastle.

 

Liverpool had one of their best games in the first fixture between these teams this season.  A Luis Suarez hat-trick helped Liverpool to win with the score 5-2.

Daniel Sturridge has scored in each of his first two games for Liverpool since he moved from Chelsea, so he is expected in starting line this weekend. Fabio Borini made his first appearance against Manchester United after foot injury, but he is again expected to start from the bench. Jon Flanagan has a knee injury and he joins long-term absentees Jose Enrique  and Martin Kelly.

 

Chris Hughton can count on his goalscoring forward Grant Holt. Jonny Howson recuperated after illness and is also could help Norwich. Steve Morison is still out of the game through injury. Andrew Surman, John Ruddy and Steven Whittaker all remain long-term injured.
