The Saints remains winless under coaching of Pochettino. Manchester City are nine points behind from the top of the Premier League table, so they must pick up three points in away games.


Southampton are sixteenth in the Premier League table with twenty four points from twenty five games. They have five wins, nine draws and eleven losses so far this season, it leaves them three points ahead of the relegation zone. They have looked impressive last time and are unlucky with only one win, three draws and a defeat from their last five matches. Their last five home games have seen one win, two draws and two defeats. The Saints are without a win in the EPL under new head coach Mauricio Pochettino, but they have picked up draws with Everton and Wigan. Forward Rickie Lambert is the fifth top scorer in the league with eleven goals, alongside Gareth Bale, Edin Dzeko and Theo Walcott.

Manchester City goes second in the EPL with fifty three points after twenty five games, winning fifteen, drawing eight and loosing two so far this season. They are now nine points behind leaders Man United after drawing 2-2 with Liverpool last week. Their current form has seen three wins and two draws from last five games. Last five games away from home Man City have finished with three wins, one draw and one defeat. This season results could put a big question whether Roberto Mancini will still be coaching next year.


These two teams had finished their first game with Manchester City won 3-2.

Nathaniel Clyne and Luke Shaw are both recovered for Saints. Guly Do Prado is still sidelined with a knee injury, so Morgan Schneiderlin should act in the centre of midfield. Gaston Ramirez should recover in time after a leg injury.

Manchester City welcomes the Toure brothers after their return from AFCON matches. Captain Vincent Kompany has returned to training, but is not expected in this game. Micah Richards is still a long-term injured.
