Los Blancos will try to rehabilitate after defeat from Granada. The distressed La Liga champions need to show result against Unai Emery’s team to get some confidence ahead of Wednesday’s Champions League game against Manchester United.

But Real Madrid have a 22-game unbeaten run in La Liga at the Santiago Bernabeu.

Sevilla are tenth in the league table with 29 points from 22 games. They have 8 wins, 5 draws and 9 defats so far this season. They have pushed on recently and have won 3 of their last 5 matches, with 1 draw and 1 defeat. Last five away games Sevilla have finished with two draws and three defeats. But Los Nervionenses have lost seven of their last eight fixtures against Madrid.

 

Real Madrid central def Pepe has recovered from an ankle injury, but is far away of his best form ahead of Saturday’s Primera Division clash. Raphael Varane had a hamstring injury and Xabi Alonso had groin problems, but both are expected to be fit. Mesut Ozil returns after serving a one-match suspension.

Sevilla can count on Ivan Rakitic. Diego Perotti, Piotr Trochowski and Cicinho are all out due to injuries. Captain Andres Palop could return after hamstring injury.
