Good going Rossoneri can overcome their city rivals Inter in league table with a win over struggling Parma. Unbeaten in the league in 2013, Milan are aiming to close to third place in Serie A, as they keep in mind next week’s game against Barcelona in the Champions League.

Milan stands fifth in the Serie A table with 41 points from 24 games, having won 12, drawn 5 and lost 7 so far this season. They are three points behind third-placed Lazio and will try to get three points to close dawn to the Champions League spot. Their present form has seen two draws and three wins from last five games. Last five home games Rossoneri have finished with marvellous five straight wins. New Milan January transfer right-back Christian Zaccardo was a part of a change deal with Parma involving Djamel Mesbah. He could make his debut for Milan against his former club. Milan haven’t lose a single match in Serie A this year. They can overcom Inter with a win.

Parma goes tenth in the league table with 32 points from 24 matches, winning 8, drawing 8 and losing 8 so far this season. Parma have won just one game in 2013. Their present form has seen three draws and two defeats from last five games. Last five matches far away from home Parma have finished with one win, one draw and three defeats. Parma had drawn Milan with the score 1-1 in September. Parma have the worst offensive record in Serie A’s top 12 teams.

 

Mario Balotelli has scored three goals in two games since he joined Milan last month. Midfielder Riccardo Montolivo could return to the starting squad after a one-match ban on Sunday’s game against Cagliari. Forward Giampaolo Pazzini still is struggling with a muscle strain, so Mario Balotelli will once again play from the first minutes. Left-back Kevin Constant will miss this game due to an ankle problem so as defender Daniele Bonera with a niggling muscle injury.

Parma welcomes defender Aleandro Rosi and midfielder Marco Marchionni back after suspension. But they will play without goalkeeper Antonio Mirante cause of minor knee surgery. Midfielder Daniele Galloppa remains sidelined via cruciate ligament injury.
