Barcelona stands at the top of La Liga with 62 points from 23 games, winning 20, drawing 2 and losing 1 so far this season. They have been in good form lately with three wins and two draws from last five games in all competitions. Last five matches on the road Blaugrana have finished with two wins, one defeat and two draws. Barcelona have won just one of their last four away encounters in all competitions. They have the best attack in La Liga with 78 goals in 23 games. Lionel Messi has scored eight goals in his last five league games.


Granada can’t count on midfielder Dani Benitez after undergoing a hernia operation in the week. Fran Rico has a knee injury and will also miss this game. From other side, head coach Lucas Alcaraz has a full squad to choose from.

Barcelona assistant coach Jordi Roura probably will give a rest to some of his key players ahead of the midweek Champions League clash with Milan. Forward David Villa once again is sidelined after being hospitalised with kidney stones. Playmaker Xavi is out due to hamstring injury.
