Date: February 21, 2013; Time: 8:05 PM UTC;

Venue: Stamford Bridge — London.

Blues will be looking for Europa League progress at Stamford Bridge. Having won in the first leg away match after Oscar goal, the Premier League team welcomes Czech club at their home ground.

Chelsea have the advantage in this clash thanks to a 1-0 win in Prague. The second leg gives some chances to Sparta. Chelsea will show their dominance and this gives them an advantage back in London.

Chelsea goes third in the EPL table with 49 points from 26 games. Their present form has seen one draw, one defeat and three straight wins from last five games in all competitions. Last five home games the Blues have finished with the same stats. Their last match was an easy 4-0 win over Brentford in the cup at the weekend. The first leg of this Europa League was Chelsea’s first game in this competition since the 2-03 season.

Sparta goes third in Czech Liga with 31 points after 16 games. They are still not in domestic action in the Czech league. Their present form has seen two draws, two defeats and one win from last five games. Sparta Prague have never won competitions organised by UEFA. Their most famous European run was in the first ever Champions League season in 91-92.

Demba Ba is cup-tied for Newcastle in this competition, so Fernando Torres will lead the line. Chelsea could start with a strong squad. But Rafael Benitez probably will rotate his team. The Blues have no fresh injured or suspended players. David Luiz is available for this game.

Jiri Jarosik missed the first leg for Sparta, but should be fit for this game. Forward David Lafata will continue up front.
