In the first Europa League game in St. Petersburg Liverpool were very unproductive. The Reds are two goals down, so they need to offer something surprising to Zenit at home field at Anfield.

Martin Skrtel could play against his ex-club instead of Jamie Carragher. Joe Allen and Raheem Sterling could also appear from the first minutes. Fabio Borini is out for the rest of the season.

Luciano Spalletti could count the same players and the same starting line-up as in the first game. Sergey Semak will once again take his place on the bench. Axel Witsel probably will start in midfield alongside Danny and Igor Denisov. Hulk will support Aleksandr Kerzhakov up-front.
