Bayern Munich vs Arsenal Preview:

Date: March 13, 2013; Time: 7:45 PM GMT;

Venue: Allianz-Arena — München.

Gunners will try to make historical comeback in Germany. The Champions League finalists have a great advantage, while Arsene Wenger’s team is in need of turn around a two-goal home deficit, scoring at least 3 against the German grand.

Bayern have a full control of this game after an excellent 1-3 win in London. Arsenal will fight with Bayern dominance far away from home. Bayern won thanks to goals from Toni Kroos and Thomas Muller in the first half, and a late goal from Mario Mandzukic in second. Arsenal fought well in the second half and Lucas Podolski scored one goal back.

Bayern are at the top of Bundesliga with 66 points from 25 games. Their present form has seen 5 straight wins from last five games. Last five home matches the Bavarians have finished with the same stats. They have been almost undefeated in all season and have won 16 straight games in all competitions so far. Also, they have 28 games undefeated run this season.  Bayern are going to easily win Bundesliga, and they are one of the favourites in the Champions League this season.

Arsenal goes 5th in the EPL standings with 47 points from 28 gamers. Their present form has seen 2 wins and 3 losses. Last five away fixtures the Gunners have finished with 1 draw, 2 losses and 2 wins. They have to play well for self-importance in Munich, but it’ll be difficult for them to win with 2 goals advantage. Bayern Munich was superb at the Emirates Stadium, so in Germany they will try to show their best football.

Franck Ribery suffered an ankle injury during Bayern Munich’s 3-2 win over Fortuna on Saturday. Bastian Schweinsteiger and Jerome Boateng are bunned. Jupp Heynckes could play with Luiz Gustavo and Xherdan Shaqiri in the starting line, while Arjen Robben is doubt due to calf problem.

Arsene Wenger has some problems. Nacho Monreal is cup-tied for Malaga. Thomas Vermaelen will replace him at left-back. Bacary Sagna has a knee problem, so Carl Jenkinson will play instead of him. Abou Diaby could return to the bench. The biggest lose is Jack Wilshere. He has an ankle injury and could miss the rest of the season.

Bayern Munich line-up: M. Neuer, P. Lahm, D. Van Buyten, Dante, D. Alaba, Javi Martínez, Luiz Gustavo, T. Müller, T. Kroos, X. Shaqiri, M. Mandžukić.
