Andre Villas-Boas will play without key player Gareth Bale. He is out due to ankle injury after draw with Basel and could miss the next two games. The Spurs head coach also misses Aaron Lennon and William Gallas cause of injuries. Vital Jermain Defoe is still two weeks away from returning with a groin injury. Younes Kaboul has returned to trainings but he is not expected. Sandro is out for the rest of the season.

Everton head coach David Moyes will play without right-back Tony Hibbert due to calf injury, while Kevin Mirallas is hoping to recover in time. Marouane Fellaini and Steven Pienaar have to complete two-match bans.
