The Spurs need to pass through hard test to keep their European hopes alive. After a late equaliser at White Hart Lane, Andre Villas-Boas need a win to progress into the next stage.

The first leg ended in a 2-2 draw. Swiss team took the lead after Valentin Stocker goal.  Then, Fabien Frei doubled their lead. Tottenham managed to score a goal back before the half time thanks to Adebayor and then levelled with a goal from Gylfi Sigurdsson.

Jermaine Defoe is out due to injury, so Emmanuel Adebayor will lead the line. Kyle Naughton could give way to Kyle Walker as returns from suspension. Gylfi Sigurdsson could start from the first minutes alongside Michael Dawson. Brad Friedel will once again replace Hugo Lloriis.

Head coach Murat Yakin could play with two forwards. So Basel could play with Marco Strellar, Valentin Stocker, Mohamad Salah and Alexander Frei upfront. Park Joo-Ho and Marcelo Diaz are back from suspensions. Cabral could take his place in the starting eleven too. Philipp Degen has also recovered from injury, but Mohamed Salah is expected in the starting line.
