Martinez’s men will do their best to win the first big trophy. Roberto Mancini’s team is huge favourites to win the FA Cup and could do this for the second time in three years.

Two EPL clubs faces at Wembley on Saturday when Manchester City will clash with Wigan. Man City will fight for the last major trophy with hope that their Qatar owners will accept this Cup as a successive achievement. But, it couldn’t be enough for Roberto Mancini to keep his manager seat. Wigan are on the way to the Premiership Division and will be fighting for their first cup victory.

Manchester City stands 2nd in the EPL with 75 points from 36 games. Man City have lost the main title to Man Utd and will be looking for at least one Cup this season to please their fans and owners. The Citizens have lost only 3 games from the last 16 an their present from has seen 1 loss, 1 draw and 3 wins from last five games. They have won 1-0 against WBA in midweek and with a great depth of their squad they should be fresh enough.

Wigan sits 18th in the league table with 35 points from 36 games. The Latics are just 3 points behind 17-placed Newcastle and have theoretical chances to stay in the EPL. Their present form has seen 1 draw, 1 win and 3 defeats from last five games. The Latics have lost midweek game 2-3 against Swansea, so now they really need a miracle to stay in the Premier League. They know they need to get maximum points from the last two games.


Yaya Toure has recovered from a knock and will start from the first minutes for Manchester City. Scott Sinclair is unavailable after surgery. Roberto Mancini has a fully fit team to choose from.

Wigan has a lot of injury problems. Ivan Ramis will miss the rest of the season due to a knee injury, while other centre-back Antolin Alcaraz has a hamstring problem. Jean Beausejour is under doubt with a hamstring injury and Maynor Figueroa is out for the rest of the season with a groin problem. To all this Ronnie Stam suffered a suspected broken leg in the 3-2 defeat to Swansea, while Albert Crusat is a longer-term absentee.
