Wigan sits 18th in the league table with 35 points from 36 games. The Latics are just 3 points behind 17-placed Newcastle and have theoretical chances to stay in the EPL. Their present form has seen 1 draw, 1 win and 3 defeats from last five games. The Latics have lost midweek game 2-3 against Swansea, so now they really need a miracle to stay in the Premier League. They know they need to get maximum points from the last two games.
Yaya Toure has recovered from a knock and will start from the first minutes for Manchester City. Scott Sinclair is unavailable after surgery. Roberto Mancini has a fully fit team to choose from.
Wigan has a lot of injury problems. Ivan Ramis will miss the rest of the season due to a knee injury, while other centre-back Antolin Alcaraz has a hamstring problem.
