The Latics are in need of three points in order to avoid relegation. Roberto Martinez’s team are inn good mood after their surprising FA Cup final win over Man City, while the Gunners knows that only a victory at the Emirates will live them in the top-four fight.

Arsenal and Wigan both have two games left in the EPL this season. Both clubs still have a lot to play for as Arsenal is in the hunt for Champions League spot, while Wigan are trying to avoid relegation.

Arsenal stands 5th in the EPL with 67 points from 36 games, having 19 wins, 10 draws and 7 loses so far this season. The Gunners are 2 points behind 4th-placed Tottenham and 5 points behind 3rd-placed Chelsea with this game in hand. Their present form has seen W,D,W,D,W from last five games. Wigan could count on Ben Watson in the starting squad, after his winning goal at Wembley. But, Roberto Martinez remains without Ronnie Stam, Jean Beausejour  and Maynor Figueroa due to injuries.
