Real Madrid 3-1 Levante Highlights (Ronaldo and Isco on target for Los Blancos)

A pretty much second string Real Madrid side earned a impressive 3-1 win over Levante playing away from home to keep their slim title hopes alive. Ronaldo had put Real Madrid 1-0 up from penalty spot while Diego Marino’s own and Isco late strike made it 3-1 for Real Madrid.

Real Madrid went into the Wednesday night game against Levante under massive pressure after losing the Madrid derby over last weekend. Real Madrid started with several second string players but they took the lead when Ronaldo converted from the penalty spot while minutes later they doubled their lead when Diego Marino put the ball in his own net. Levante got themselves back on level terms with a goal from Deyverson just before the break.

Madrid did not had all their way as Levante were in the game throughout the match. Deyverson scored just before the halftime to get Levante back into the game.

Levante are currently rock bottom in the Spanish La Liga standings 6 points off the safe zone and with only 12 games to play they are bookies favourites to go down. But a Levante will be eager to put on a good show against Real Madrid and try to get something of this game to stand a chance of La Liga survival.

Team News & Lineups: Real Madrid are likely to player with Jese, Ronaldo and James Rodriguez as the front trio while Modrich, Kroos and Isco to play in central midfield roles. Karim Benzema will be missing due to calf injury while Marcelo is also ruled out for precautionary measures ahead of Real’s important Champions League game against AS Roma.

Levante on the other hand will be without two key players in David Navvaro and Pedro Lopez while inform striker Jose Luis Morales to play upfront alongside Rossi and Deyverson. This is how I expect both teams to lineup on Wednesday night.

Real Madrid are likely to field second string side and the players will be hungry to impress Zidane heading into the business end of the season. Ronaldo will be looking to score couple of goals to keep in touch with Luis Suarez for Pichichi race. I cant see Levante holding Real Madrid for 90 minutes and expect goals from Real Madrid.
