Brazil are set to host 2019 Copa America from 14th June 2019 till 07th July 2019 in 6 different venues across Brazil. Brazil’s opening game will be against Bolivia on Friay night, 14th June 2019 in what should be a cracking game. Copa America 2019 will have 12 teams (10 South America sides plus two invited teams Japan and Qatar) Divided in three groups of four teams and Brazil are in Group A with Bolivia, Venezuela and Peru.
Brazil as usual go into the tournament as hot favourites to win the competition however they face stiff competition from the likes of Chile (2 time defending champions), Argentina and Colombia etc. Neymar has been ruled out of the tournament with latest injury but Brazil do have enough firepower upfront to cope without their talisman.
Brazil start the tournament with relatively easy game against Bolivia on Friday night, 14th June which happens to be the opening game of the tournament as well. It holds paramount importance for Brazil to put up a good show as their most recent tournament game at home soul was that 7-1 and 3-1 defeat in the hands of 2014 World Champions Germany and Netherlands respectively.
Upcoming Brazil Copa America Matches: Brazil play Bolivia on Friday, 14th June followed by game against Venezuela (18 June), Peru (22 June). Top two teams from each of the three groups qualify for quarterfinals alongside two of the best 3rd place teams making it 8 teams in knockouts.
