The awards ceremony was hosted by Shahrukh Khan and his close friend Karan Johar. IPL 2010 awards ceremony gave awards in 22 categories including batting, bowling, fielding, best commentator, best stadium, most stylish batsman of the tournament, etc.

Patil Stadium at Navi Mumbai today. Along side Raina, Mahendra Singh Dhoni’s (22 off 15 balls) also added pace to the CSK Innings.

in-form Vijay drubbed a dazed Rajasthan Royals into submission with an outstanding century of powerful and clean hitting and powered Chennai Super Kings to the highest score in IPL history. Dhone won the Toss and fielded the away team on a Belter of a track accoring to him.

Shane Warne, opening with Yusuf Pathan, has become predictable, and Vijay took full toll to send him off after two expensive overs. Sumit Narwal’s length deliveries were fodder for a trigger-happy Vijay.

ijay scored what was the fourth fastest hundred in IPL history – off just 46 balls.The Chennai opener’s eventual effort – 127 – came off just 56 deliveries, was inclusive of eight boundaries and 11 maximums and was a perfect follow-upto his 78 in the previous game against Royal Challengers Bangalore, an effort that had had won him the man-of-the-match award.

One of the best match in the IPL 2010 so far, saw Punjab team win the game against Chenni Super Kings playing away from home. It was down to the Super over after game was tied in the nomal play, and Yuvraj and jaywerdene made sure they win the game for away team who haven’t won a game before that. Kings XI Punjab which gave Kings XI Punjab an unlikely victory. Irfan Pathan and Yuvraj Singh managed 82 runs in the 10 overs they faced between them, but the others batted poorly to score just 54 in the other 10. In the chase, even after a 65-run opening stand, it came down to 10 runs off the final over. Fittingly for a match of low quality, the last over of the regulation game – bowled by Irfan Pathan and faced by Albie Morkel and R Ashwin.
